Fine Blue-and-White Dragon Bowl, Kangxi Mark & Period

This is a fine Kangxi period Imperial blue-and-white bowl from our large collection of Qing Imperial porcelains. The bowl has a rounded side sitting on a tall foot ring. The exterior is painted in dark cobalt blue with two striding dragons chasing flaming pearls. The base inside the foot rim is inscribed with a six-character Kangxi Imperial mark within a double-ring.
The unglazed foot rim exposes the silky smooth porcelain body burnt orange at edge. The glaze is of clear and slightly tinted white color typical of early Qing Imperial wares. This beautiful Imperial dragon is in excellent condition.
