Antique Cloisonne Cabinet fixtures set, Qing Dynasty



Up for auction is a fine set of Cloisonne fixtures for a Chinese cabinet from the Qing Dynasty. The set has a total of 13 pieces which consists of four sets (two pieces in each set) of door hinges, a pair of two door knob plates, a decal strip, and two square pole caps. Each piece is decorated with fine classic cloisonne pattern of vining lotus flowers. The exposed metal surface is covered with fine rich gilt. Judged from the quality of the cloisonne and rich gilt, this set must have been removed from a fine cabinet of imperial origin. It should not be missed by any serious collectors of Chinese furniture.
