Blue-and-white Covered Jar, China, Qing Dynasty

We are offering a genuine Chinese imperial porcelain from the Qing Dynasty Yongzheng period (1677-1735). The covered jar is decorated with blue-and-white pigment under clear galze on pure white porcelain. The decoration is direct copy of early Ming style. It is marked with a six character mark with a double rings at the base of the jar. There is a network of glaze crackle lines at one side of the jar. Some of the crackle lines have been stained due to age. As the detail photos show, the painting is delicately done and the unglazed footrim is silky smooth typical of Qing imperial porcelain. Other than the glaze crackle lines, the covered jar is in excellent condition with neither chip nor crack. This is a genuine mark and period imperial porcelain. Please bid with confidence.
