Fine Famille Rose Plate, Daoguang Hall Mark & Period

This is a fine Qing Dynasty Imperial famille rose plate with a rare Daoguang Emperor's ( reigned 1821-1850) hall mark of "Shen De Tang".
The small plate is delicately painted with a cicada resting on a branch with red leaves in fine Imperial quality Famille Rose palettes. The underside of the plate is undecorated xcept for a four-character "Sheng De Tang Zhi" hall mark in iron-red enamel. The porcelain and glaze is pure white with virtually no impurity. The unglazed foot ring exposes the silky smooth porcelain body. There is a few glaze crackle lines at the base. This fine Imperial plate is in excellent condition. This is a no reserve auction with a low starting bid.
