Mughal Style White Jade Dish, 18th Century

We are offering a fine jade carving of a chrysanthemum-shaped dish in Mughal style. The elegant dish was laboriously carved and polished from a solid piece of white jade into a very thin dish. The carving style and the quality of this jade dish points to the attribution of Mughal style preserved in China since 18th Century. The jade is of fine semi-translucent white with some creamy snow-flake inclusion and veining. Unfortunately, the magnificent white jade dish has suffered from a a long crack with old repair as photographed. There are also two chips at the rim. Other than the repaired crack and rim chips, the jade dish is in good condition. We are offering this rare and beautiful jade dish with a low starting bid and an affordable buy-it-now price. Place your bid before someone else does!

Size: Mouth rim diameter: 15.1cm; height: 2.1cm
