We are offering a very beautiful Yongzheng mark and of the period meiping with delicate doucai decoration. The vase is well-potted with a wide rounded shoulder tapers to a constricted lower section. A short neck rising to a small mouth with raised sits on the shoulder. The middle section of the vase is decorated with four large roundels each is centered by a "longevity" character surrounded by various flowers. The shoulder is adorned with floral and vine patterns enclosed within eight Ruyi motif. The neck is lined with an array of vertical banana leaves. The bottom is decorated with stylized pomegranate fruits and florets. All decoration were executed with typical 18th century Imperial porcelain doucai palette of fine underglaze blue outlines and clear enamels. The recessed base is inscribed with a six-character Yongzheng Imperial mark within a double-ring in underglaze blue. This magnificent Imperial meiping vase is in excellent condition with superb painting on an outstanding vessel.
