Miniature Robin's-Egg-Glazed Beaker, Qianlong Mark & Period

This is another fine Qing Dynasty Imperial porcelain of miniature size from our collection. The lovely vase is well-potted into a stylized archaic bronze "Gu" form with a splayed foot and a sharply flared trumpet mouth rim and a center bulb. The exterior is covered overall with a rich mottled glaze ranging from pale blue through turquoise to purple. The glaze stops at the unglazed foot ring showing the white porcelain body. In the center of the recessed base is carved with a Qianlong seal mark. There are two large burst glaze bubbles at the bottom of the center bulb as photographed. Other than the glaze defect and surface stain, this fine robin's-egg-glazed vase is in good condition.
Size: height: 18.5cm; mouth diameter: 7.5cm
