Fine Pair of Doucai Scroll Ends, Qing Dynasty

We are offering a fine pair of Doucai porcelain scroll ends from Qing Dynasty Imperial kiln. The scroll ends were designed for attaching to the end of a hanging scroll for weighing down the painting. each of this pair of porcelain scroll ends has a cylindrical tube and a domed end. The exterior is decorated in fine Doucai palette with beautiful garden scene of "Three Friends of Winter: Plum blossom, Bamboo, and pine" among rock works. The interior and the foot rim are unglazed and exposes the fine white porcelain body. The scroll ends are not marked and are both in excellent condition. Based on the quality of their doucai decoration and porcelain, we attribute this pair of fine scroll ends to be a product Qing Dynasty Imperila kiln of 19th Century Century or perhaps earlier.
