Fine Carved Celadon Beaker Vase, Qianlong Mark & Period

This is a fine Qing Dynasty imperial monochrome glazed celadon beaker vase with elaborately carved decoration. The thickly potted vase is in the shape of an archaic bronze "Gu" form. The exterior is carved in low relief to simulate the pattern on archaic bronze with young dragons and stylized banana leaf patterns.The recess base is carved with a Qianlong Imperial seal mark. The glaze is of deep plum green color with glossy sheen. For size comparison, we have included a photo of this large vase along side a fountain pen which is not included in this sale. Except for some surface scratches and stains, this carved celadon Imperial beaker vase is in excellent condition.
