Fine Doucai Miniature Lotus Vase, Yongzheng Mark & Period

We are offering another fine vase from our large collection of cabinet size small Imperial porcelains. The vase has a globular body sitting on a short foot ring and rising to a tubular neck. The globular lower section is decorated in fine doucai palette with four large lotus flowers of alternating red and yellow colors connected by stylized vines. The bottom and the shoulder is each lined with vertical banana leaf border motif. The neck is decorated with various border patterns in different enamels. All decoration are executed with typical early Qing Imperial Doucai precision with clear enamels and fine underglaze blue outlines. The foot rim is unglazed and exposes the silky smooth porcelain body. The recessed base inside the foot ring is inscribed with a six-character Yongzheng Imperial mark in blue within a double ring. This lovely Imperial doucai vase is in excellent condition.
