Fine Famille Rose Butterflies Bowl, Yongzheng Mark & Period



Up for auction is an extremely delicate and beautiful famille rose bowl with stylized butterflies roundels from Yongzheng Period of Qing Dynasty. The thinly potted bowl has an elegant rounded side sitting on a small foot ring. The exterior is superbly painted in fine famille rose enamels with five roundels of double-butterflies and flowers. The painting is amazingly delicate with details meticulously picked out with fine lines and enamels of the finest quality. The glaze and thin porcelain body is of very fine and pure white in color only seen on the finest Qing Imperial wares. The small base inside the foot rim is inscribed with a six-character Yongzheng Imperial mark within a double-ring. The small foot rim is unglazed and exposes the silky smooth porcelain body. This beautiful Imperial bowl is in excellent condition with virtually no blemish nor damage.
