Gilt Bronze Seated Guanyin On A Lion, Qing Dynasty

We are offering a beautiful Chinese Buddhist gilt bronze statue of a Guanyin sitting on a lion. The hollow-cast slender Guanyin sits in a meditating position on the back of a Buddhist lion. The bronze surface was originally gilded with most gilt worn off and now covered with a glossy patina and some later red and gilt lacquers. Except for the worn surface and a few casting flaws, this statue is in good condition. Based on the iconography style and the type of material used, we date this wonderful Guanyin statue to be from Qing Dynasty or perhaps late Mind Dynasty.
Size: Length: 18.5cm; height: 28.5cm; depth; 8cm
