Rare Carved Copper-red Glazed Plate, Yongzheng Mark & Period

Up for auction is another fine early Qing dynasty Imperial monochrome plate from Yongzheng period. The plate was finely potted and carved into a shape of a camellia flower with fine carved and incised details. The entire plate except the base is glazed with a crimson-red copper-red glaze of vivid color. The mouth displays a white rim from thinning of red glaze. The base is inscribed with a six-character Yongzheng Imperial mark within a double-ring. Except for minor glaze surface wear, this beautiful copper-red plate is in excellent condition with a rare even deep red glaze.
