Fine Imperial Blue-and-White Bowl, Xuantong Mark & Period

We are offering a very delicate blue-and-white bowl with panels of court ladies in garden scene from the last Imperial reign of Xuantong.. The thinly potted bowl has a rounded shape and very fine white glaze and porcelain body. The exterior is painted with four circular panels of beautiful court ladies in elegant gardens. The painting was executed with very fine lines and cobalt blue washes simulating Chinese ink paintings of 19th Century. The interior is left undecorated. The base inside the foot ring is inscribed with the six-character Xuantong Imperial mark. The unglazed foot rings exposes the silky smooth porcelain body. Due to the short period and turmoil time of Xuantong reign, Imperial porcelain from that period is very rare. This rare and beautiful bowl from the Xuantong period is in excellent condition.
