Fine Famille Rose Plate, Xianfeng Mark & Period



This is a fine Imperial porcelain from the rare and short Imperial Period of Xianfeng reign.. The plate is decorated in the interior with eight treasures of Buddhism and roundels of a crane holding a peach in fine famille rose palettes. The exterior wall is painted with three flowers and vine scrolls bouquets. The base is inscribed with the six-character Imperial Xianfeng mark in dark cobalt blue. Fine Xianfeng mark & period imperial porcelain wares are very rare due to the short period and political unrest of Xianfeng reign. This fine plate is in excellent condition without any crack or chip.
