Fine Pair of Blue-and-White Cups, Kangxi Mark & Period



This is a fine matching pair of Qing Dynasty Imperial blue-and-white cups with respective dragon ad phoenix roundels decoration from the Kangxi Period. Each cup has a flared mouth rim and a bell-shape body sitting on a tall foot rim. The exterior of one cup is delicately painted with five dragon roundels. The center of the interior is painted with another dragon roundel. The matching cup is similarly decorated with phoenix roundels instead. Each cup is inscribed at the deep base with a six-character Imperial Kangxi mark within a double-ring. The glaze is of fine creamy white color with distinct beige tint. It is very rare to fine matching pair of dragon and phoenix cups such as this fine pair from the Qing Imperial kiln. The lovely pair of cups are in excellent condition with no condition problem.
