This is another fine Korean ceramics from Rai collection which we are listing for serious collectors who appreciate Korean aesthetics as exemplified by Korean potters. The vase has an elegant form with a flattened globular body rising toward a tapered straight neck. The lower body is decorated with large "longevity" character roundels neatly arranged on the spacious surface. The cobalt blue is of fine grayish blue with traces of copper-red at certain spots. The unglazed foot is adhered with kiln sand and grits. This large vase from late Choson period is in excellent condition with only minor glaze wear.
