Fine Doucai Lotus Bowl, Yongzheng Mark & Period

Up for auction is a very fine Yongzheng period Imperial bowl decorated in Doucai palette. The beautiful thinly potted bowl has a rounde side with flared mouth rim and a short foot rim. The exterior is decorated with five lotus flowers surrounded by leaves and vines. The area above the foot rim is lined with Ruyi heads in alternate colors of red, turquoise, and blue. The base inside the tall foot ring is inscribed with a six-character Yongzheng Imperial mark within a double-ring in underglaze blue. The glaze is of fine quality with slightly tinted white color. This Imperial Doucai bowl is in excellent condition with pristine glaze and enamels.
