We are offering this small ink paste box decorated in fine doucai palette from the Yongzheng period. The delicately potted box has a dome-shaped cover and a rounded box sitting on a small foot ring. The exterior of the box and the dome cover are decorated with scene of two swimming ducks and blossoming lotus plants. The painting was executed with fine over-the-glaze enamels and under-the-glaze cobalt blue outline. The base inside the small foot ring is inscribed with a six-character Yongzheng Imperial mark within a double-square. This is a very fine and rare Imperial doucai ware in pristine condition.
