Fine Imperial Doucai Saucer Dish, Yongzheng Mark & Period

Up for auction is this very lovely small saucer dish with superb Doucai decoration from the Yongzheng Imperial kiln. The delicately potted dish has a shallow sloping side sitting on a wide foot ring. The exterior is decorated with five double-chrysanthemum roundels among flower scrolls. The central interior well is similarly decorated with elaborate underglaze blue outline and fine overglaze enamels. The glaze is of typical fine Yongzheng Imperial glaze over pure white porcelain. The base is inscribed with a six-character Yongzheng Imprial mark within a double ring. This is another one of our favorite small Qing Dynasty Imperial porcelains from our large collection. The beautiful saucer dish is in pristine condition with only minor enamel wear.
