Double Dragon Jade Carving, Qing Dynasty

This is a very fine and large jade carving from the late Qing Dynasty with an archaic design. The jade carving is in the form of two young dragons wreathing in and out of two connected loops. The Han Dynasty motif was represented with a elaborate Qing Dynasty jade workmanship. The jade is of fine even white color with slight celadon hue. This large jade carving could have been made for a pendant or as a desk ornament for Qing Dynasty elites. The beautiful jade double dragon carving is in excellent condition with superb patina.
