Fine imperial Doucai Jar, Qianlong Mark & Period

We are offering this very beautiful and delicate miniature jar decorated with Imperial taste Doucai motif. The globular-shaped jar is fully covered with detailed paintings of auspicious motif elegantly placed together to present a highly sumptuous visual feast. The Doucai palette of clear green, vivid iron-red, yolk yellow, light aubergine, and underglaze cobalt blue are skillfully used by the painter of this tiny jar. The resulting product is such a lovely piece that one can not resist the urge of holding it and staring at it for a long time. This explains why this little jar has some enamel rub-off on its surface. The base is inscribed with a six-character Imperial Qianlong seal mark in cobalt blue. The unglazed footrim exposes the fine silky smooth porcelain body. Except for surface wear and some enamel rub-off, this wonderful little Doucai jar is in excellent condition.
