Fine Miniature Doucai Vase, Yongzheng Mark & Period

This is another fine miniature Qing Dynasty Imperial porcelain from our collection. Our collection is especially rich in small-size vessel for personal enjoyment. The lovely vase has a rounded lower body rising to a cylindrical neck with raised ribs and a bulb-head mouth rim. The exterior is decorated with fine motif of lotus flowers among vine scrolls and fine border motif of banana leaves and stylized vertical lotus petals. All were executed in fine Doucai technique of enameling within fine underglaze blue outlines. The base inside the tall foot ring is inscribed with a six-character Yongzheng Imperial mark with a double-ring in cobalt blue. Except for some minor enamel discoloration and wears, this lovely Doucai vase is in excellent condition.
