Imperial Robin's Egg Glaze Vase, Qianlong Mark& Period



This is a very beautiful Qing Dynasty Imperial Monochrome porcelain with a rare robin's egg glaze. The elegantly shaped vase has a tall and slightly flared neck on top of a flat ovoid body sitting on a a tall foot. The rare blue glaze is dotted with variegated spots of purplish to blue color which were given the Robin's egg glaze by early European collectors. The foot ring is unglazed to expose it pure white and silky smooth porcelain body. A moulded or carved six-character Qianlong seal mark is inscribed at the center of the base. Large vases with this beautiful variegated color from the Imperial kiln are very rare. This is a genuine Qing Imperial porcelain from our large collection of oriental ceramics collection acquired more than 30 years ago. Please bid with confidence.
