Small bronze censer, 19th century or Earlier

This is a lovely small bronze incense burner which is a faithful copy of early archaic bronze. The heavy cast bronze vessel is in the shape of the archaic bronze "Gui" with two animal-head handles and a tall foot supporting a bowl-shaped body. The exterior is fully decorated with motif of archaic dragons and "taotie" masks in low relief. The surface is covered with a fine black patina with exposed bronze at raised points. The fine bronze censer is in excellent condition.
Size: Height: 5.6cm; Body width(with the handles): 10.6cm, (without the handles): 7.2cm; Mouth rim diameter: 7.0cm
