White Jade Pendant, Qianlong Mark & Period



This is a very fine Chinese white jade pendant with exquisite carving and excellent jade quality. The rectangular plaque is carved on each side in low relief with inscription written in three types of characters (Chinese, Manchurian, and another unknown scripts). A four-character Qianlong YuZhi mark with two seals are also carved on the lower right corner of the inscription panel. The jade is of very fine translucent white color with very small spot of impurity. The jade surface is very well-polished with superb patina developed from years of handling. There is a perforation for suspension, except for a small ground-off chip at the edge, the beautiful white jade pendant is in excellent condition. This is a Qing Dynasty Imperial quality jade piece not to be missed by any serious collector of Chinese jade and Imperial works of art.
