Miniature Doucai Water Coupe, Qianlong Mark & Period

We are offering this very delicate and beautiful miniature Doucai water coupe from the Qianlong period. The lovely ink-well shaped vessel has a rounded straight side and a dome shoulder closes to a small mouth rim. The exterior is sparsely decorated with "Sandou, three abundances of peaches, pomegranate and Buddha's hand citron" The mouth rim and the bottom are each lined with auspicious border motif of ruyi and lotus leaves. All decorations were executed with precise Qing Dynasty Imperial Doucai palettes of fine enameling and cobalt blue outlines. The shallow recessed base is inscribed with a six-character Qianlong Imperial mark in blue. The beautiful miniature Imperial Doucai water coupe is in excellent condition with virtually no blemish.
