Rare Turquoise-Glazed Incised Bowl. Guangxu mark & Period

This is a very beautiful late Qing Dynasty Imperial bowl decorated with incised scene of children-at-play under an extremely rare turquoise green glaze. The thinly-potted bowl has a rounded side rising to a thin flaring rim. The exterior is delicately incised with frolicking children at play in a garden scene. The base is further decorated with incised border motif of vertical lotus leaves. The decoration shows under a thin layer of beautiful and finely crackled turquoise glaze. The interior and the deep base inside the foot ring are glazed with a fine slightly-tinted white glazed.
The base is inscribed with a six-character Imperial Guangxu mark in underglaze blue. This bowl is unusually fine and beautiful for a late Qing Dynasty Imperial piece with its beautiful glaze, perfect potting and superb incised decoration. The rare turquoise-glazed bowl is in excellent condition with only minor glaze stain and wear.
